Website Design

The challenge stems from the audience perspective. What would our potential customers want to see and how do they like to shop? I had to keep in mind of both gender tastes in look and feel of the web layout to create a balanced design to suit both. So based on the concept of the products, I used the bold pattern for the home page to connect back to the brand identity. The products are so delightful with a variety of patterns, and colorful special featured products. I wanted the experience to be eye catching by using cut out products with white space to create an engaging experience, and on the checkout page not only can the the viewer easily customize how many products they are viewing, I have introduced a fun 3D looking effect by simple layering of the product on a flat square for the main product viewing, the navigation and decision to change a products scent and bundle is very simple, and a simple touch of a vector triangle to reveal a clear visual of which scent the viewer is purchasing, create brand recognition, and in addition it leads the eye back up to the most important part of checking out to make sure everything is correct. I am being mindful of the user to create a positive and smooth experience with the brand.
